doTERRA Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender Oil (Lavandula angustifolia)  is an essential oil with versatile uses. Its calming and relaxing aroma promotes a peaceful environment.  The Egyptians and Romans used Lavender for bathing, relaxation, cooking, and as a perfume.  Applying Lavender oil topically can reduce the appearance of skin imperfections. Added to bath water it may help remove stress or apply it to the temples and the back of the neck. A few drops of Lavender oil can be added to pillows, bedding, or bottoms of feet to relax and prepare for a restful night’s sleep.
